No Emergency Services
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or are in immediate danger, do not use this website. Call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. This website is not monitored 24/7 and is not an emergency response service.
No Therapy or Medical Advice
The content on this website is for informational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice or a therapist-client relationship. Accessing this site or contacting Monica Burford via email does not establish a clinical relationship until a formal intake process is completed.
Telehealth Limitations & Eligibility
Services are provided via secure telehealth platforms. Per licensure regulations, Monica Burford ONLY provides therapy to residents of the State of California who are physically located in California at the time of session. Telehealth requires a stable internet connection and a private space for sessions.
Payment & Cancellation
Payment is due at the time of service. We require a 24-hour notice for all cancellations or rescheduled appointments. Appointments cancelled with less than 24-hours notice will be subject to the full session fee.
Intellectual Property
All content on this site, including text, graphics, logos, and images, is the property of Burford Therapy or its content suppliers and is protected by copyright laws. You may not reproduce or distribute any content without express written permission.
Limitation of Liability & Governing Law
Burford Therapy shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, or incidental damages resulting from your use of this site. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes arising from these terms will be resolved in the courts located in California.
